Huh, did any of you chaps got the P1? Apparently has just gone on sale and the complains have started coming:( On Esato a pic comparision with the N95 was started and what a disappointament the P1 is :( * +

Even the 'harden' fans have to admit the P990i's pic quality is better, not to mention the N73 (let alone the N95). Now they are all waiting for a firmware upgrade to fix the noisy pictures :( * +

I find it a stupid topic considering that the N95 is a 5mp cam and P1 is a 3.2mp cam, N95 had similar prob at release as far as i rememba,ppl complaind bt the fw update gave it great pic quality, so im sure SE wil sort it out * +

BUT dont expect the P1 pics to be beta than N95, the K850 wil thou, at the end of the day i dont thnk SE are planing to make an N95 beater, if they did they wud hav made the K850 a UIQ3.0 phone with GPS etc etc. . . * +

I am sure they would have . . . The question is - do they have the money and 'know how' to do it? Keep in mind - nokia been the first in this and that, hold lots of patents. Any 'newcomer' has to 'reinvent' certain thinks to circumvent all sort of legal issues. Just to give you an example - how many quadband SE phones are out there? Even a pretty basic 'EDGE' connection seems to be a problem :( * +

I totaly agree,their budget did cross my mind,thats very true. And the fact that SE are only about 5yearsold and that in that time Nokia had already been making their 1st smartphone s60,the 7650,and sum others,and so have a lot more experience in smartphones than SE.u cn tel Nokia hav a lot of cash to play with,i mean HSDPA and GPS in one device that kpz getin more affordable is pretty hectic * +

Even SEs newer smartphones the W960 and P1 only hav 3G and apparently run the same Graphics chip and ARM processor as the P990 which is a bit worrying in sum ways,since W960 luks lyk its gna want ALOT of ram, processing power and graphics acceleration,one thng that i find gud is that atleast both P1 and W960 hav 128mb ram and alot at start up,im hoping SE are busy with P990 successor * +
