Where do i get XS++? And SEFP? how big are they? Is it dangerous modding my phone,seing as im a noob and dont have a clue? * +

Ok down to a personal question...i read on se-nse,a admin(?) Posted a mod pack,and the instructions seemed easy to follow.should i try mod my w810i?is there a way to back up my firmware incase i make a ba11sup? * +

Ok firstly both SEFP (Sony Ericsson Flash Pluggin) and XS++ can be found at se-nse (since its there members that make both programs, checking the Members Projects and Research And Development sections) there both around 3 or 5mb maximum (cannot remember exactly). * +

XS++ is a stand alone software (meaning it can flash unaided), while SEFP (Sony Ericsson FLASH PLUGGIN) is just a pluggin as its name surgests, its for a DOS based file manager called Far Manager (once combined its then becomes a stand alone software for CID36 ONLY (most k750/ all w800/d750 so on and so on) that rules out your w810, it needs the help of XS++ to be used with your phone), and YES it can be risky to flash and mod your phone. * +

although most cases of people killing phone's are generally because there havent done the relivant research on how to use the programs or havent took the time to download the correct flash files for the job (if your get the message ...configuration error please contact your network... this means you havent finalized the phone or in other words installed the customization pack known as cust pack) but with enough reading is quite safe. * +

and YES modding your phone can have alot of benefits (but your a nOOb remember, lets take it one step at a time), the biggest benefit has got to be the halmer certificate mod (you may notice the name HALMER, he's one of the guy's that work's on the Opera Mini Mod), the halmer certificate lets you sign your own applications (big benefit's) to stop them stupid read write prompts (when the phones asks to read/write user data). * +
