The games + application folders dont work. It says operation failed it was working fine earlier + now it wont work at all. Took mem car batt sim out and turned it off then back on put the things back in and tried agen and it still says the same.. Whats wrong with it + how do i fix it without paying.. * +

Yeah i have had the same problem. Not just with the w850i either. All i did was deleted the applications and games, re-downloaded them, and saved them to the phone memory instead of the memory stick so that it doesn't happen again. Its worked fine since * +

It wont let them into the games and application folder's to delete them i think, this is a commen problem which can fix itself, but if not you'll need to flash it, and there's no free way of doing that with the w850 it'll be a CID49/51/52 (49 can be done free but it takes around 5 to 6 hours and requires brute forcing), if its under warrenty you'll get it done for free though... * +

An update with Sony Ericsson website WONT fix it... it only partly updates the FS (file system) part of the software and install a clean main part of the software (thats how you keep all saved data when updating), and the AMS folder (thats the games and applications folder) is one of the folders SEUS wont effect, but if your warrenty is up its relatively cheap to get them flashed these days (CID52 may charge ALOT more to do). * +
