What's a service cable and what is it used for? Is there a way to modify my usb cable? *

well its what it says it is, its a cable used for servicing, it accesses the phone in a different way from what a standard USB cable does, normally through the COM port on the computer, it allows you to do more to the phone then you can do with the normal USB. (most service cables also CANNOT be used to transfere files to the phone) *

Yup they can be usefull to have, but only if your into fixing or modding phone's... i like to mod so yes i WANT one, but i currently dont have one as iv currently never need one so far, but i will be purchasing one in the near future when i start my project (Bessy MarkII) just in case anything goes wrong lol... *
