Is it me or is it just impossible to get a hold of a faceplate for that phone? *

Nope your looking for the wrong phone model.... try looking for a k800 Faceplate , well thats if its the just the plastic screen protection faceplate anyway, if its the whole front case you may need to buy a full OEM k790 replacement case (microphone's are different so you cannot use the k800 front case without modifying it)... check out www.cnn.cn its good for stuff like that, also try ebay. *
