dead erom welcom to the club! if your computer picks it up using the usb flash driver you can flash the EROM using wotan server, but if it wont like my k8's then you'll need a service cable i just cannot be bothered to buy one lol if its still under warrenty send it back they'll fix or replace it for free, if its not you could try searching around your local phone repair centres but where i live the only one with a service cable shut down *

depends how good the shop is, its free to fix if they know what it is and they'll charge around 10 uk pounds, but if there unsure then they'll probably run a diagnosics to make sure and then it could be anything from 20 to 40, plus you need to find a shop with a service cable first *
