Well, i have the 830i. Its the same as urs but with edge instead of 3g. The phone is triband, it uses 900 1800 and 1900 mhz frequencies or sum such. Urs also uses umts 2100. Do u know wat frequency band ur providers use? * +

The only frequency it doesn't have that would make it a true world phone is 850 mhz. So maybe ur provider uses 850 for its network? I'm probably wrong but it was a stab n the dark * +
