While install some javagames my k510i froze 
and wont get past the S.E logo in startup ,its a new phone ,had lots stuff installed in it ,any1 know is there any way reset it manually rather than return the phone to shop? * +

if its a new phone and its gone belly up already, i wouldn't want to keep it. Maybe you installed something incompatible with it. * +

yes av prob maybe overload it with cr*p,,hope that dont affect the gurantee ,just hopeing was some sort reset or formatt like my s60 nokias...Only got it coz it diddy phone..It realy puts me off a brand when a new one cr*ps up in couple weeks...Now i just got find my proof of purchase.. * +

That used to happen to my old k800i 
the phones confused as to weather the EROM is corrupt or not, but if it gets to the SE logo it means its still working, its like when you turn a PC off without shutting it down it checks the hardrive for corruption well thats what your phone is doing but since the phones processor is nowhere near as powerfull as a PC's it takes ages to complete, just switch it on and leave it on charge for an hour or 2 :) * +

Go 2 t SE site n download the sony ericsson update software n do wot it ses n itll put t nu software on n shud fix it * +

@diezi1 for your repair method ,it worked..it took couple hours then started but was slow ,so ive delete some games which the first took ages,,now its work perfect..thanks again your a *STAR* * +
