You need to activate pop3 in gmail. You'll need a pc for that! Next go into the email section of your phone, it should be in messages. Put in the following settings. Email address: your account name@gmail.com, Username: your account name@gmail.com, Password: your gmail account password, Incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com, Outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com * +
