Thats weird,ur W810 is dead,take it to the nearest cellphone service center to get it flashd/firmware update * +

try cleaning the contacts on batt failing that do what fresh said. * +

Ok first question, is there a red LED flashing inside the ir port when you push the power b*tton second question if yes do you have a computer with the internet, as the flashing LED means the EROM's shot and needs updating takes about 10mins to fix which is alot quicker then sending it away for a few days maybe weeks * +

Hi, my w810i phone has become faulty for no reason!, after swicthing it on from recharging it just comes up with a white flashing screen i have tryed all sorts, first i bought a new battery thinking that might be it but it wasn''t then i tryed the sony ericsson update service after speaking to SE, but that didnt work, it kept stoping on 96% while updating the phone i have tryed this about 6 times * +

I had a similar thing on a k750i with the white flashing screen, and that would stop just before the update finished. In the end i had to take it to a shop to have the software flashed. Worked better than ever after flashing though, much quicker. *
