depends how your downloading it but the answer is yes but not through a moded mini opera coz jad is just jar with a few things added to it and sonyericsson phones reconise its a jad file and it takes away the added bit and only downloads the jar part of the file * +

but if you download a jad file through one of the moded mini operas it will download the full jad file and not be compatible with your phone as but if you downloading through your phones web browser it should automaticly convert it to jar :) if im wrong someone please say but in most cases it should convert to a jar file well atleast thats what iv found anyway * +

iv just tried downloading a jad file with my w800 and it didnt work but i know my k800 converts it to jar it most cases lol * +

Its nt realy that.,think of jad as a torrent in a way...that can ony b downloaded on da ryt device. 1nce da jad is gud to download it downloads the jar n installs same tym * +

ahh but with the k800 it will download as a jar and install it but with the w800 it downloads as jad and cannot install once downloaded :( maybe its a new feature to sony phones ie k800 and w850 well im not sure about the w850 someone try :) *
