Iv already solved the big GMAIL prob but for those who cannot get the SE email here a very good alternative since you need to buy yahoo mail plus for 20 us dollas to use yahoo through your phone and Hotmail dont support email through phones bluebottle has got to be the best alterate email out there to start one just goto www.bluebottle.com :) heres the settings * +

Advanced settings encryption outgoing/incoming: none, outgoing user name: leave blank, outgoing password: leave blank, incoming port: 110, outgoing port: 25 and that should have your bluebottle email working straight from your phone :) * +

Coz you cannot download pics or listen to music or send anything via the gmail app coz its and its only use is to chat via email lol * +

Glad its of some use mate all i seem to be getting is people saying why start these threads when there the GMAIL app lol but the GMAIL app might be good for them and useless to others lol there also a guide for GMAIL with sony too but it dont seem to work with all sonys but definatly works for the k800 and w800 coz its what i did to get both up and running :) * +
