What she said might be true (never tried) but as pointed out by some folks earlier, its just dumb. A free call to the carrier's automated call center (ex: 345 for Telenor) can be made and then pics can be taken without the shutter making any sound. But this is a lenghty process and often the calls are not connected the first time we dial, cuz of bad service. So a much better way is to set the phone on silent. * +

btw, tj78, howdy dude. long time no talk.. Did you flashed your K750 to W800? IIRC, your was also a cid49 (like mine) and you were looking for possible ways to update the firmware. A cid49 W800 firmware came out a month or so back (as you might already know) and it is now possible for cid49 K750i owners to upgrade the phone's firmware to w800i. So just wanted to ask did ya do that? *
