I want to get a 1gb or 2gb mem stick and have seen them very cheap on ebay maybe too cheap is there anything i should be wary about? * +

well....... yes....... cause they might have errors on them or they may not be a very good brand and there's not much of a warranty on ebay if your card goes belly-up. * +

You can get 4gb memory sticks for about 75 if u know where to look. Not off ebay, is too many fakes about. * +
