Hi guys, hope this hasn't been asked before, but I did a good search first.. My sis has just bought a K800i and when she tries to download animated gifs from the seclub site, she get's 'file type not recognised' errors. I've downloaded some (on a Nokia) sent them to her by email, and they run fine on the phone, so why can't she download direct? Any help would be much appreciated.. * +

As I said - I have downloaded the gifs from that site and sent them to her, they run fine on the phone, the phone supports gif images. Only when she downloads them herself (and she's an intelligent woman) does she get the file type not recognised error. I've been around phones for a long time, and I'm stumped, thought it might be a specific K800i browser problem...? * +

Yeah, perversely, she can download any animated gifs from a PREMIUM site, no problem, it just seems to be free ones she can't download. It's not the service provider, as she's used the sim in previous phones to download everything under the sun.. surely there can't be some kind of internal SE content lock on that phone.. can there? * +

It probably might be a prob with the fone's browser.. Try using a browser like opera(the hacked version).. it would download anything no questions asked. * +
