Lol its all dependant on what fone you got and what max limit your fone can download.For example you might say you downloaded a 74kb gif file. But in actual fact the file might really be 54kb.The other 20kb memory is needed for storage purposes,think of RAM.. Your phone OS is the answer to your question.. * +

Your t290 os is morphun.And to be honest..the technology has never really been given respect.until now that is with advanced morphun runtimes taken really serious with new SE smartphones like your P series range.now coming back to the t290.Its internal components and main block are exactly t230.no diff besides the outer paintjob and inner firmware.just like t230 your max limit of download is 64kb * +

You must be greatful that you are even able to download 64kb at a time..earlier SE models had limited download of only 3-8kb but this was in the i-melody era when only bytes counted and not kilobytes lol.but i believe there was a trick that could be done to overcome the Network limits.note i said network limit and not phone limit.i will ask my cuz about this and ill report back to you guys.thanks * +
