What is pop3? How can i use it for transferring files? But, most of all, how can i access my gmail account (pop3 is active). Note that i have a k700i * +

Post office protocol i believe. To access it you need web or internet gprs (not wap gprs) and k700 dont support gmail. But it may work wit the lates firmware. * +

Thx. Where do i get the latest firmware and how do i install it? I have gprs. I got my phone less then a month ago. It might have new firmware, so is there ne1 out there that can put a stop to my long search and just give me the gmail settings? Or is that too much to ask?

You can't just get the settings like that. You have to get a gmail invitation to join. Go to the nokia forum and search for gmail invite and ask for an invitation ok. * +

I dont even know wot gmail is m8 but i hav pop3, it lets u read ur emails on ur phone just like a txt msg plus u can send+recieve attatchments (pics, vids or music) just type 'pop3 settings' in2 google +find the settins4ur phone+email provider, its easy m8. Am on a k750 but the settings r probly the same eh * +

lol@ ppl not readin posts properly! anyway im not sure if gmail works properly on phones yet ppl been having problems best is to have a look and seach 4 gmail pop3 on esato forums u will have much more joy there. as for pop3 its jus an email client on ur phone (also imap) it basicly downloads the email off your sever straight 2 ur phone etc * +
