I'm wondering if the k700i has the feature that allow a user to save a picture that is loaded on a particular page? Also if it the has option to stay connected when the wap/web browser is exited? Awaiting some positive answers, lol. Thx much in advance. * +

Btw a gprs connection is always connected unlike gsm wap which is more like dial up. In gprs when you have to go to an addy then it sends/receives data...for the phone to do that always is not possible coz it needs a source to transmit data from...eventually it'll receive the data n go to sleep again. * +

It is possible to stay connected with some Sonyericsson phones even when you exit the browser of the phone. I know the t200 and the t68i can do it. Just a bit of info. When using gprs, u are not charged for the time you stay on but for the amount of data you use. You are charged that way when your using gsm wap. * +

There can be no phone which will stay connected after exitin browser. Gprs is always connected coz thats its tech...but your connection to network is in kinda like sleep mode until to transmit data, if you stop usin wap or mms it'll sleep again. And ya that was an error from my part...dont believe any network charges per min on gprs. * +

I think both of us are saying the same thing. When the phones stay connected that session doesn't end until you disconnect, so you can go on and off of wap without starting a new data session(connection). I'm gonna email sony ericsson and ask them if its possible to get that feature on a t610 via a firmware upgrade. ;-) * +

But even in t68 etc your session will be ended when you exit wap browser. To confirm time your session from the time you login to the time you exit the browser n then compare with values in data counter. *
