My K800i is displaying fully charged battery, yet when I unplug the charger,the power drops all the way back down.Phone and battery 5yrs old approx.Battery life ended, charger,or both? * +

As you r saying it seems that ur battery life is finished... charger is working properly bcoz whn u plug out the battery drops fastly...so i thnk battery is fault. * +

just try ur battery in frnd's phone , if it works fine then it's ok othrwise change it * +

check if th battery is swollen. had same problem on my k750i. u might nnotice thaat th battery charges way too quickly like in an hour or two but then drops fast * +
