My w850i doesn't turn on correctly, it goes to a white screen and stays that way. I rang sony and they said a simple software update would fix it, which you do yourself. It didn't fix it at all. I like the phone simply because my mem card fits in it.. * +

And it would be a bit of a pain to transfer 200 odd songs, but i've had nothing but bother with that model. Anybody else had this problem? A repair would probobly cost as much as a second hand model.. If i got it repaired, is it possible of a recurance? * +

first transfer your songs to a pc using card reader. then use seus(sony ericsson update service). Get it from se website. * +
