Can i flash a cid51 phone with a cid52 firmware??? My phone is k800i r1jc002 cid51 help guys * +

Yes but its not simple, first you must have quick access patch applied (use den_po's anycid method to patch QAPatch) then you must convert both FW files to .raw, then flash with either SETool2 Lite or jdflasher (XS cannot do it) and manually enter the firmware start/length addresses, but be warned, if done wrong you can kill the phone beyond repair, I wrote a guide about flashing cid52 with cid53 FW over at se-nse, the principle is the same once you can enter the flash area in jdflasher * +

but why not flash with cid51 FW and XS++, its easier and a lot safer, try seusers.com for FW, its free to download once you sign up =) * +

@suresh i ve try to upgrade the cid to 52 cant do it. Xs++ say its done but stil 51 setool also says done stil 51 * +

@suresh86 thats for flashing different cid fw not updating cid =), @ezhide if it needs test point your best off letting the shop do it, they'll have the proper cables etc... * +
