downloaded it etc ready to update, but when i get to the bit where i have to plug my usb in and hold (c) b*tton it doesn't do nothing, doesn't seem to be dectecting the phone for some reason. anyone got a clue as to why? * +

am not sure,but you can also update your phone by flashing it with a new firmware * +

I've tried and tried. Every time i connect it, my lappy makes the lower 'ding' tone, as if its failed to connect, instead of the higher 'ding' if that makes sence? Also sometimes the phone switches on and says 'preparing for ma55 storage' and then do the higher ding

ok man do this,install usb flash drivers by runnin the ggsetup.exe then try again,am very sure it will work * +
