hello guys i'm looking for an app that can hide or protect the sms by password. Does such an app exist for the se k800i? Also i would like to know if there is an app that can hide pics vids etc from phone. All i know is that you can do that on se with an explorer but is these also a more user friendly app? One friend need this apps and he is not into this stuff. Thanks alot. * +

thanks but i knew about the explorer like i said above.anyway i can explain him how to use it. But what about the sms? Can he protect them with a password or something? * +

Well as far as i know......J2ME won't allow u to edit the system files....so yes...u need mobyX to hide a file.......hmmmm about messeges .....u must copy paste each messege in a single .txt file....and lock it (with mobyX again) ,,,, ....link is there in ur own group...... :) * +

and btw lol... Mobyexplorer IS A J2ME application so you are a bit wrong about what you said.:) maybe you meant the phones that only support java apps? :-) * +

Exactly bro J2ME(as os) ..the files are not J2ME they are JAR(Java ARchive) or JAD(Java Application Descreptor) .......J2ME is java 2nd micro edition......like os9 .....and (These MIDP 2.0 CLDC 1.1 won't allow any app to edit (in s40)...don't know about se much :(,and thats the reason why java can't get virus.lol)...... * +

There is a patch dat allows u 2 password protect menus including msgs. * +
