UIQ stands for User Interface Quartz. It is not actually an OS but a user interface that runs on top of Symbian OS. Same holds for S60. By the way, I like UIQ on my P1i. It runs pretty good and I prefer it over S60. Dunno why the f they r dropping UIQ when G900 and G700 are selling pretty good. * +
