Thanks 2 the replys in similar topics ive learned about flashing and modding etc n the idea of customising my phone sounds great. Ive made a note of the sites 2 visit 4 more info ( including youtube which i had a quick look at aswell and theres video tutorials ) * +

But theres a couple of things im not sure about.. I bought my K530i mainly coz it came with free msn n skype on 3 network. If i flash my phone is it likely that i'll lose those built in apps ?.. Im not 100 on the benefits of flashing so if someone could post the key benefits id appreciate it * +

Do i have 2 flash my phone before i can add firmware mods yea ? Also does flashing remove the need 4 age verification from my network ? * +

wen u flash you will lose yo apps. U can mod yo fon afta and before flashing. Wel one great benefitsis dat if u flash to latest firmware,u will definately gain access to alot of patches. * +

Not good. Losing my msn n skype isnt an option. Even when i master reset everything on my phone those apps are still there. Will i still lose them by flashing yea ? * +

I think im getting mixed up actually.. I need 2 read up on it all but i just havent got the time just now. When u say 2 flash 2 the latest firmware does that mean that firmware = the latest type of phone specs i can get with my model ? And so i have more patch options than i have now ? Maybe unbranding is my best option...it man i'll just read up on it all asap lol * +
