If u ever need to restore yo GDFS to yo fon and u didnt make a backup,never be mislead or tempted into downloading a BLANK GDFS from the internet.. It will seriously KILL yo fon. The blank gdfs is only for SEtool Full. Do not use it on SEtool lite or XS++ or fon will be dead * +

That is rule 1 of modding... If you do, do that then find a tool capable of formatting Flash IC and do an Empty Fill (Ultimate Unlocker can do it I think...) * +

Nope, I just bricked a K800 
, Got EROM failure in the middle of customizing (please wait screen), now it has corrupt GDFS and EROM damage at the same time, its not ed though.... its proper ed lol. well at least untill I can be a*sed to get a service cable to commo with phone. * +

dude yo dont service cable. K800i is DB2020. So duh....u can fix yo erom with Kulan Kandi Client and it supports usb cable.. After fixin yo erom,restore gdfs backup then flash yo fon. And yo fon wil b great * +

You do realise who your talking to right? you need erom working to restore GDFS and you need GDFS working to fix erom, both are dead, the phone is a paper weight, it DONT have working boot-loader anymore so the usb lead is as much use as a chocolate teapot, lucky I have 2 K800i's huh lol. * +

PS: anyway why KK, its cr*p and you need to sign up and buy credit to fix EROM (although it wont take any credits to flash erom), SETool2 Lite does the job alot better without needing to sign up or pay for anything, pick any DB2020 for the list and press the big b*tton saying Unlock/Repair and it will flash erom, or better still manually flash erom. *
