Ok, iv heard this is is quite a common problem so this is probably a repost, i appologise, but when i try open my games and apps it says 'operation failed.' what can i do to fix it other than taking it in for repairs. Im traveling at the moment so i cant leave it in the shop to be repaired * +

I had the same problem, solved after fjashing the latest firmware. Though for temporary you can solve the problem by removing the memory card and installed the java games/apps in your phone memory. Once you installec the games in phone memory then you can reinsert the memory card for music videos storage. * +

I did the software update too. Didnt work either. Forgive my ignorance, whats seus and fjashing? Every time i try download anything, even without the mcard in, it tells me 'operation failed' again. * +

Oh great one of those ones is it? Take it back to the shop and just tell them to use sony ericsson update service from their pc on it * +
