All beginer SE users are doing the same mistake..installing the games and apps to the memmory card...that's why the phonE's java engine get's corrupted...for now on put the j2me apps (games and applets) on the phone's memmory...i was to lasie to do that and had the same problem whit my k800i..i was lucky coz got it replaced and now everythings fine. * +

U can still use your mem card..no problem with it...the phone's java engine is the only problem so you have to take it back to the shop if is still under varanty...dont forget to tell the guys from the shop that a simple software upgrade wont fix the problem,your phone need's to be flashed,that means they have to completely rewrite the software into it...good luck! *
