maybe the antenna is located at the bottom where your palm is? I remember when the W900 keypad was open the antenna was at the bottom so the signal would fluctuate, but when closed the signal was fine. *

Yea the antena is at the bottom near the speaker,mines duz the same thing wen ma hand covers that area,lol its weird that sony ldt that slip pa55 them. My network is digicel in the caribbean. *
