Ok my w850i died on me, would'nt switch on or nothing, took it to the shop to get repaired (was expecting a new one) but they repaired it. It was unlocked and now its locked again and a few things on my menu has changed into different menu's if that makes sence, can anyone enlighten me what they've done as i need to get it unlocked again. Ta * +

they updated firmware but i thort that wasnt suppose lock it again?once unlocked thats it.check ur imie they prob gave u new phone * +

Thats what i thought too but its locked again and it is the same phone altho its like a brand new phone lol. Ill check the ime tommorrow as i havnt got it on me tonight. * +

Actually if you just got it back from service its probably cid53 therefore not patchable :( * +

It was cid52 last time. How will i know weather it can be re-patched? Is there not another way around it? * +

Just got my phone back from my mates house and its the same phone coz its got a crack in the screen etc but looke at the ime number and its different, i didnt think that was posible but it is, so will it still be cid52 coz im taking it to get it unlocked again today? * +
