cx1250232r5bc004000000 Thats not a firmware version , and my phone aint a w900, its w800, w810 and k800, w800 has R1BC002, the w810 has R1EA031 and the k800 has R1GB001, there's 1 newer firmware for the w800 and w810, and about 3 or 4 later versions for the k800, but im keeping these for modding reasons, although i might be upgrading the k800i's. * +

You could start by reading your manual . Just go to your connectivity settings and look for Mobile Networks . Don't say its not there coz it is even on old k700 its there don't be lazy look under mobile settings there is option to choose your network it is here that you disable 3g and choose normal gsm . By the way what network are you on that your 3g causes problems *
