almost everyone has that problem, you need to take it apart using a torx t6 screw driver and give it a good clean. * +

its the one that fits those star shaped screws, goto a hardware shop and ask for a t6 screw driver

Press up to go down by the way if you open it you loose your warranty just Take it back to the shop they will just check the phones imei number * +

I have the phone for a year now the joy stick works perfect. Take a piece of tissue roll it, make it pointy and clean it between the stick it should work betr * +

warrenty is gone anyway, no receipt.... whats all that press up to go down stuff about 
and yeah it would viod if you had thr recipt, k800i is also tricky to get into , but its the most efective way to fix it. * +
