Can you give your honest opinion her please, i want to send emails from my phone and don't know how to go about this, i have a k800i on orange and was wondering which email site is best for pop3, i'm lookin for cheapness and if the settings actually work! i had trouble with setting up hotmail on my phone due to server probs! What do you think people? * +

first activate the pop3 forwards from Gmail settings , then setup your phones with these - incoming mail(pop3) use ssl , server pop.gmail.com , port 995, outgoing mail (smpt) use tls and authentication , server smpt.gmail.com , port 465 or 587 .... this works for me * +

I forgot to ask, it may work for you but are you on orange therefore it'd work on the orange network? * +

yes, gmail is easy to setup and hey network provider doesnt make much difference in these settings, but port address might change according to your country... * +

well thats for pop3 anyway, they give you absolutely no control over your inbox (you need to login via the internet to delete your messages), also DONT set the check interval either as once a message is downloaded from the pop inbox its removed and will disappear from your phones inbox next time it checks for messages so you might miss a mail or 2 (lol) * +
