You need to use the GFX patch, NOT exactly true... you can dump the GFX files somewhere in the phones FS and it changes them without any of those GFX bugs we'v been discussing @jason, but not all the images show correctly when using that method, plus it CANNOT show see through elements (so the patch is the prefered method), id tell you which dir they go but quite frankly i forgot lol. * +

Ok i remembered, create the folder /tpa/system/icons within the phones FS and place the GFX icons in there, NOTE: all png images must be in higher case, ie: e74e.png wont show but E74E.png will, i would only even consider the none patch method for changing the status bar icons (things like battery/signal icon, mute, handsfree iconc). * +

as i said translusant sections of the images dont show so you will almost certainly have a black square around the GFX icon and in some cases a white square, this method is also comfirmed to work with the k800i (not sure if it has the same translusant image bug as on the w800i), NOTE: HEX codes for each image differ per phone and even firmware so make sure you have the correct codes). * +

i have make the 3 folder /tpa/system/icons. but i dont get it when u say within the phones FS what do u mean by that * +
