I was reading somewhere that uiq3 is basically a front end for os9.1 so wouldn't it be possible to run n95 apps on a p990 or may be find a cross compiler and port n95 apps to uiq3 * +

i had once heard that you could port sum s60 appz to UIQ bt i read that at sum random symbian forum lol. Bt ye what ever photon says is probably true * +

I tried installing a n95 app i could install it but kept getting error this software may not be for your device but it allowed me to install i chose to install had to restart but i couldn't find the app but i managed to uninstall it i won't give up though there has to be a way * +

I dont think they will work only java can work but i doubt for s60 sis files to work on uiq but keep trying * +

yeah wez the sis is an installation file not an application file,that's in .app * +
