What you need is a filter wrench,available at a motoring store near you! Good for removing stuck oil filters and jam jar lids,of course real men dont use those prefering to lay under a car cursing and swearing then piercing the d*mn filter with a big screw driver in the vain hope that it'll come free with a bit of wiggling and jiggling,thus spilling dirty engine oil everywhere and finally giving in and calling the AA! This is not what i did last time i attempted to service my car... * +
