I'm curious what the .. umm proper protocol is when you continually run into your ex out in public.. what do you guys think? So far I've adopted the 'pretend you didnt see him and continue on' approach. What would you lot do? Is saying hi waaay out of the question? Lol * +

I guess it would depend on the reasons you two broke up and how long ago it was but standard protocol for me is to pretend I haven't seen them. There are a couple of exceptions though. * +

Im still civil to mine so its not a big deal.. Its just annoying when the only time you ever seem to bump into them is when your looking like absolute shoitee and not at your best

well it wasn't a pleasant break up but we spent 4 years together... 3 years down the track n now we seem to run into eachother regularly.. and i wonder if the mature thing to do is just to acknowledge eachother - might make it less awkward. but ignoring them seems to be working... thanks for the input guys... and ur spot on loopy
