My wifes mem card seems to have gone. When I delete files from it,they delete,but when u go back to my computer,all files are back again! The card does not want to format either...have tried force format and low level format,but no joy! After formatting all files are back again,and no new files can be saved! Any other ideas anyone? * +

Mabe if u r using the card adapter for micro sd the slider is set to LOCKED.All of these adapters usually come with a slider lock. Look on the adapter and see its on lock or if u don't know which way is the lock ON, try experimenting. I think that might b what it does, never really get to test it out, lol * +

I've got the same problem with my nokia 8gb that I got with my 5800xm. When using it in my bb it does the same. The only way I get to format the card or delete files is by putting it in my samsung F480. It works but the other hiccup is when putting it back in my bb it says there are some damaged clusters and needs to be repaired, once repaired its back to square one. Rather get a new card and bt the files u need * +

Try diskwipe.....it is a small, free utility......basically, it formats the card, and at the same time rewrites the filesystem. Just remember, it Destroys any files on the card permanently.....I used it on a dead cruzerblade memory-stick, and a 2TB western digital harddrive......Both working fine once more......Sometimes it will report bad clusters etc, but its not always the case...Diskwipe takes care of any nasties, by removing (wiping) it..... * +

Yep, its slow, but it checks all the clusters....if that don't sort the card out, try wiping it in another bb....a new IRQ will be assigned to the card, and the format might work.....good luck.... * +

nope,wiped with diskwipe and got unable to format,invalid media or track 0 bad,disk unusable........ any other ideas uncle ungers???? * +

try downloading Disk Genius worked on allot of hard drives and flash drives that did not want to format or even read properly * +
