I was about to re-boot my phone when a battery symbol appeared on screen with a big red X thru it? . I could not get my phone to work - Then I Googled it on my other phone and saw it meant battery not allowed? Advise clean terminals - which I did and its fine now ..... *

Every battery contains a microchip....if its the wrong battery or weak contacts, it will show that....it happens as well when the battery gets old, swollen, or drawing too much current when charging.....a good sign to change the battery is when it gets hot while charging or browsing the net.... *
