Yes, its supposed to be, the only limit is the data usage......I heard that they are thinking to lift the data ban (limit) starting September, but it has NOT been confirmed yet.......sales are very poor on the new devices worldwide, although they pretend its the phone to have.....(im talking about bb10 in general)......its not only in SA, in other Countries u gotta buy addon data, or work it into your contract...... * +

They may lift the data ban on these devices ungers but if the device is lacking in the apps and entertainment sector it wont sell. I know a guy who bought the z10 for one purpose and one purpose only. To show off. All the android phones i've played with so far have stunning graphics and plenty of game titles. Im currently adjusting my budget for the s4. * +

I bought the galaxy note2 a while back.....stunning device......the only reason I'm still a bb fan, is the movie downloads......no other reason at all....movies takes a lot of data....The Q5 is a complete flop, the Q10 is fine, apart from the data issue, the Z10 is only touch, a device u will be sorry for buying within a day....he shows off, but cries his heart out at night....I won't buy one anytime soon... * +

Blackberry 10 devices no longer needs bis to run BBM. I use BBM and app world via wifi mind u, u can still use it if u need to but it's not compulsory *
