hey phly thanks for the input, yes I'm aware that the os is taking up bulk of my app memory around 122 of my megs which is suppose to leave me with around 100 megs free to use but this other factor has taken up currently went up to 85 megs and only leaving me with 11 free I'm sure it will come to 30 again after a reboot but again with the rate it drops by I'm sure the friendly clock would be visiting my screen a lot, hope the updateing os helps * +

unfortunately i'm not so well versed with OS 6. I started with OS 7 and in there one can find what apps are taking how much space. Something like application management. That should give a detailed look at what has been installed, what is running and how much space its eating up. Also if you will update the OS wipe it clean with bbsak first and thereafter observe the memory after installing the OS * +

okay so I did the software update to v 6.0.0.668 and it was really effective, it still has the other taking up megs but this time only around 40 so much much then taking up 80 and leaves me with 50 free, so if anybody is having the same problem with a 9300 I recommend you do an update aswell, thanks for the help * +

I was going to advise you to use bbsak to wipe your phone after you back up. that way you have a clean phone to install with. * +
