Why is it that lately I don't get 3G in all the places I used to?? Normally lying in bed,I used to get full 3G signal,now I struggle to get 3G,and yes,the bed has been in the same spot for years.....! And if I set the network settings to 3G and 2G I only get edge,bt if I change it to 3G only,I get strong 3G signal? How does that work??? * +

and for the past week I keep getting sim card rejected errors,restart phone and then its fine again. and yes,I have reloaded software,etc etc etc. any ideas anyone? Has the MTN network maybe developed a problem or should I look to hardware error??? * +

If u didn't drop your phone, took a shower with it etc, nothing to worry about.....network issues.....if I may ask, why not try 8ta prepaid?.....I also have a 9790, essentially its the same as the bb 9900, just more compact.... * +

thanx uncle ungers,I have taken ur advice and I'm now a member of the 8ta prepaid fraternity (happy dance) must say though? I haven't yet seen a considerable difference in download speeds,or is that dependant on the time of day??? BUT and its a big BUT.....no signal drops yet and I have a strong 3G signal wherever I go (grin) * +

I had to pay R61.00 to do a simswop after I was hijacked....they claim its a replacement, not a swop.....I paid, just to save my temper.....and I didn't want to waste time talking to a robot.....and my contract is 13 years old with vodashyte.... * +

I'm actually still having trouble even with the 8ta sim . bt I must confess,my phone drank some tea a while back,bt the tea only spilled on the keypad and I immediately shook it and dried thoroughly!!! now my wife keeps saying its because of that I'm battling with the phone??? * +
