My friend who lives in S.A has a 9790. She sent me a screen shot of a open padlock icon last night on the top left hand corner of the screen. I've never seen this icon before, when she woke up this morning it was gone. Think she's on Vodacom... I have done searches with different reasons given, any help please? The icon is grey too n quite small. * +

the icon came.... it went away automatically without any changes done to the settings... this doesn't seem to be part of the security settings as I too have a 9790 and can't get the icon on. I am guessing its something to do with BIS or BES with the network... * +
