Only if u get a court-order, then its activity on the various networks could be traced..let's say they suspect your bb had some major role in Dianas death...they will be able to tell u when it registered for the first time on whatever network, from nearest tower that picked it up..... *

But to go that far is a bit extreme......don't buy phones from someone you can't find again.....and if u know the person, and are trying to spy on what he or she has been up to on the phone b4 u got it, just forget it.... *
