Not sure. I have a 8520 that's affected. But it took about 2 years before it started giving me problems * +

That method was unfortunately short lived lol even went as far as opening phone and sticking paper between shell and connector for trackpad, it works but only for few minutes guess if the t-pad is going then there's no way out but to replace * +
