Hey guys!I'm currently doing a software upgrade to the os 7.1 on my bb 9360. So I searched for updates on my phone,and my phone is currently doing an update, but it seems to be stuck. On backing u data. Is there anyway to stop it or is this normal? HELP * +

only restarting the backup will help, if it gets stuck again its because of an issue with some app that I forgot which should be unchecked when backing up. personally I don't backup anything on pc. I just use bb protect to backup bookmarks and contacts, the apps I redownload, the rest normally come back like bb contacts etc. I tried to upgrade my sis 9780 and she lost her bb contacts as we didn't back em up so backup important stuff * +

hey does the memory card has to be in the phone when updating? the phone keeps getting stuck, is there anything is can do to stop the update or something?? I need to my phone to start working asap!!! HELP please and thank you * +

memory card does not matter, cancel the update for now till you have enough time to do it. try a battery pull and see what happens * +

no socialco but I managed to do a soft reset and with a couple of battery pulls my phone is normal again * +

I suggest you always try to use pc for such stuff as reinstalling OS *
