Did u try switching ur phone off, pulling out the battery and then restarting it? Whenever my icons disappear it's what I do to resolve the issue. * +

go to mobile.blackberry.com and install app world again. that's the only way. * +

or if you have a pc with internet, you can just update it yourself..... vodacom will take forever * +
