I don't kno wat this guy did to his BB,I loaded os5 to this bb8520 a while ago and worked,now my friend has brought it again while it reads on screen load software I tried the same os I prev loaded on it but to no success,I have tried 3 diff os5 for bb8520 includin os4 but it just says the os not compatible with phone,I shud contact my wireless provider help * +

help pliz coz BB now adays we don't pay for BIS we hav cracked the network and its pure freeeeeee!!! no penny thou BIS to pc not working!!!!! help! help! help! this 8520 shud not miss out of free browsing * +

Use BBSAK, wipe the phone and then load the software again * +

connect the phone to pc,go to c drive,program files,common files,research in motion,apploader,then delete vendor.xml,open apploader.exe and follow prompts * +

all those steps were followed and I finally resoorted to use another PC which has made all went quite well. I think di problem is with my first pc I don't know why its doing llike this * +

probably the antivirus. had that problem with AVG aswell. never thought of that.... * +
