I hate to be the bearer of bad news however there will NOT be an OS 7 theme maker even though some of us have been patiently waiting for it all these months. Official word out is that there were issues that beta testers had issues with and as such we will NOT be seeing theme maker at all. In addition there will NOT be a theme maker either for blackberry OS 10. My question to theme makers is, is there still a future for making themes for bb phones or does one turn their focus to app building? * +

3 weeks ago RIM said that theme studio 7 is on its way and now they suddenly just pull the plug, that was one thing they shouldn't have done.People like to personalize and customize their phones,so now they can't really do it anymore.yeah there are some os 7 theme around but they aren't fully customized.RIM is also going to lose a lot of theme developers because they didn't keep their promise.I'm one of them,I'm going to give android a shot and also the older samsungs * +

I will also give Nokia a go in the near future to see how much money I can make from their themes.I wouldn't buy any other phones except BB,but when it comes to make money I'm certainly not going to stick with BB only, time to move on now * +

android must be easy to code for even with little or no experience I figure. I sahre your sentiments though. Massive blow. 0S7 gets very little love if any. The focus on bb10 makes most of us feel neglected. Will look up android coding and see what's in store. Iphone system is too closed for me to even look into that however they make premium phones and as such the apps for it are a premium too. * +

yeah iphone is a b***h to develop for,coz you must have a apple mac for their software to run,it doesn't run on windows and to apply as developer you need to pay like R800 then you don't even know if you're going to be approved or not.Samsung has also got a nice theme builder and its easy to register as a developer with them.I'm now looking for a downloadable android theme builder, only found an online theme builder so far... * +
