For those of you who have it, how is the battery life. Mine doesnt last a full day as i expected. not expecting crazy standby times but i find myself charging it several times in a day, have updated to os7.1 and even using the application resource monitor only thing it warned me about was battery watch which i deleted but still. Discharge rate is about 10percent an hr or more. stumped as to why this is * +

yeah for the first 2 weeks or so battery life is poor, but it gets much better with time. Are you using the battery saving mode? * +

Yes got battery save mode on, infact it was at 50 percent and I set it at always on today. device analyzer is doing a good job at showing me the stats however i'm not able to pinpoint what is eating up the battery juice, granted i use it for a fair amount of time chatting and stuff, but no hectic downloads just a few apps. also which is the best ucweb for it? will ditch voda but wanna make the most of my bis. themes are almost non existent too * +

well I don't use ucweb at all just my normal browser.I would recommend you give 8ta a shot, its the king of BIS.We are still waiting for the OS 7 theme builder to create proper themes for OS 7 devices,if everything goes well it should be released in september. The reason why the BB's batteries don't last as long as other device's batteries is because its connected on internet 24/7 * +

the normal browser failed on a big download and has no resume feature. 9810 themes have appeared but they using modified OS 6 theme builder and its quite a process to set it up. Thought withn the new OS update i'd have better batt life. Any interesting apps or games for it though? found some link for uc web around here will try that. or does anyone know which opera mini uses bis? * +

don't even bother with opera mini as it doesn't use bis. try opera mini next it uses bis * +

ah ohk, will try that one and see, normal browser is perfect however only for browsing. atleast on voda. even apps download muc slower than i would expect. with a 14.4mps modem it should really be fast. uc web on my sis 9780 works perfect altho uber slow too. * +

well my normal browser is cool on 8ta if I leave my phone on the same place while downloading. As long as I don't walk around with it all the time lol.I have never used uc and I'm downloading like 20 - 30 gigs with my normal browser every month * +
